Special Olympics and Law Enforcement officers have a long history and partnership that spans decades. Learn the benefits of involvement, appropriate ways of speaking to/about the intellectual disability (ID) community, and interact with real SO athletes. After some classroom time, you will participate in a “Unified” experience with the athletes and see first-hand how we are all more alike than different (no running required!).
